Three quick and easy website updates to make in January 2024

Happy New Year! It's time to give your website a quick check-up.

You don't want to be caught with outdated information, right? So, grab a cup of coffee and take a look at these 3 easy fixes to make sure your website is up-to-date for 2023. Let's get started!

1 - Update your website copyright from 2023 to 2024

This is a 30 second fix - head to the copyright text in the footer of your website and update 2023 to 2024. This will stop your website from looking outdated and unattended.

Don't have copyright wording? Just add the following to your footer: Copyright © 2024 Business name

2 - Edit date specific messaging

Check if you have any messaging or call-to-action buttons on your website that mention specific dates or times. For example, phrases like "Launch your website in January" or "Free delivery in December". It's always a good idea to go through your website and make sure these are still relevant for the new year. Remember to check pop-up messaging too as this may only become visible after a certain amount of time spent on the page.

3 - Check your contact form is working correctly

This tip isn't just for the new year, but it's always a good idea to keep an eye on your contact forms every month or so. It's super important to make sure they're working properly so you don't miss out on any important enquiries, orders, or potential leads.

Tick, tick, tick! Now go and have a cracking 2024!!
